Skills Shortage or Inefficient Use of Skilled Workers?
There are many reasons why there is a shortage of skilled workforces, particularly in Germany. Based on our own observations, we would like to add another factor: the inefficient use of skilled employees.
It becomes clear in many conversations with clients: skilled workers spend a significant portion of their working hours on tasks for which they are overqualified and which can very often even be performed by software without human intervention. One example of this is the processing of data, which is accumulating in ever-increasing volumes. There are numerous solutions to this problem, ranging from the use of suitable software (we don’t count Excel among them) to applications tailored to the task at hand. Often, all it takes to get started is to ask someone who knows what they’re doing -for example, us.
