Our analog-digital test bench twins – or: if the mountain won’t come to the prophet…

… that doesn’t mean the prophet has to go to the mountain. For us at müller+krahmer, this means, if our customers’ test benches can’t come to us (and they almost never can), we don’t necessarily have to travel to the customer’s site to commission systems, implement changes, or troubleshoot issues. Wherever remote access is unavailable or insufficient for the use case, we create simulations or – in the case of the systems we deal with on a daily basis – even a office-format test bench.

For the current generation of our pneumatic test benches, this consists of the complete control hardware, a selection of proportional valves to be tested, and, of course, a compressor for the necessary pressurized air. This allows us to replicate and test a large portion of the operating conditions of the real system.
