No matter what your data looks like, NI DIAdem, NI LabVIEW, and NI SystemLink can load and save it

However, for formats that are not supported by default, these programs require assistance in the form of DataPlugIns—extensions that connect to a standardized interface, describe the format of the data to be imported, and thus enable the import.

While DataPlugIns for reading simple data formats can be created with the help of wizards, those for complex data structures or for reading and saving non-standard formats must be created using special programming in C++. Is this beyond your capabilities? Then we can help. Would you like an example? Our 64-bit DataPlugIn for the RPC-III format allows files for controlling endurance test benches to be loaded and saved. It processes header information such as channel names and units as well as binary data in accordance with the NI-TDM data model, regardless of how many channels are contained in the file.
