Integrating hardware into test systems – best done with real-time Ethernet
At müller+krahmer, we develop software for a wide variety of test applications. This works best when the hardware we use is flexible and easy to handle. And what could be simpler on a pneumatic test bench than hardware that covers all electrical and pneumatic interfaces in a single system? One such system is the AES valve terminal from Aventics (the first generation at the front, the second generation at the rear, which can be easily combined). And thanks to an EtherCAT interface, integration into our NI compactRIO and TwinCAT-based universal test platform is (almost) child’s play. And if you need a different bus, these valve terminals are also available with DeviceNet, EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, and POWERLINK, among others.
