How can you see in our work that Christmas is coming?

Among other things, by the fact that we are testing a LiDAR sensor on a Christmas stollen (a typical German cake).

However, it is not actually the sensor from Sick’s TiM5xx series that is being tested, but the DIAdem driver that we have created for it. As mentioned many times before, NI DIAdem can not only analyse data, but also measure it, and is used, for example, for data acquisition in testing of agricultural technology. The soil structures recorded in this process are as rugged as the surface of a Christmas stollen. Of course, the tests must be completed before the holidays, because after Christmas there will be no more stollen left…
