compactRIO and PROFINET – live

Last week, we presented our new fieldbus interface for compactRIO live for the first time at the Würzburg LabVIEW User Group (WUELUG) meeting at Siemens Energy in Nuremberg. And since we were guests at Siemens, we of course demonstrated the connection to a device with PROFINET interface, an electro-pneumatic valve from Emerson Aventics’ Advanced Valve System. For those who couldn’t be there, here’s an impression of our solution, which is not limited to PROFINET. PROFIBUS, DeviceNet, EtherNet/IP, EtherCAT and CANopen are also available
